Reports are essentially financial statements and records of membership including items such as:
- Tables of income from subscription and numbers working by shop and district
- Breakdown of membership - working, idle, retired, foreign - by district
- Monthly income and expenditure by district
- Details of dues income, levies and benefits granted by district - audited
- Names of members receiving idle benefit and amount received
- Occasional reports of events e.g. International Workmen's congress of 1889
- Occasional reports of referendum ballots
- Details of loans to members giving names and amounts
- Trade census - members, apprentices, hours and standard wages by district
- Occasional correspondence
Over the years there were modifications in the presentation of the reports to include items such as:
- Expenditure for funeral benefits for named members with cause of death listed: 1894
- Historical table of membership, income and expenditure 1842-1894: December 1894
- List of names of foundries and location: December 1894
- Brief reports of recent conciliation cases: February 1897
- Names and addresses of district officers with place and time of district meetings: July 1897
- Names of new members or ones re-joining by district: July 1897
- Extensive reporting of dispute between Iron Moulders and Brass Moulders: June 1902
- List of names, age and length of membership of members benefiting from superannuation and reason for being unable to work: August 1902
- List of names of members participating in a referendum ballot: September - December 1918
- Table of number of members and wives dying and age at death by year 1878 - 1917: January 1918
- Table of salary and other expenses by branch, with average membership by branch and cost of servicing members by branch for 1918: last quarter 1918
- Historical table of income and expenditure (by heading) for years 1842-1919: last quarter 1919
